NCC - National Cadet Corps

• NCC in Mukand Lal Public School, Yamunanagar was introduced in 2004 under 14 Haryana BN NCC Yamunanagar.
• 36 cadets appeared in exam and achieved certificate ‘A’ in January , 2023.
• NCC camp was held at YIET Gadholi in June , 2023. Students learnt , performed and enjoyed to the fullest.
• Students from class VIII and IX are enrolled as Ist year cadets & training is given for 2 years.
• The training in NCC involves instruction in the area of discipline, military science, weapon training, field craft, map reading, self defence, personal hygiene, leadership and so on.
• The training is given in regular parades and in the specially organized camps.
• Every cadet has to attend the camps to qualify himself/herself for the Certificate Examination conducted by the Ministry of defence. NCC offers to the youth.
