Cleanliness Campaign

Mahatma Gandhi’s dream of a clean and hygienic India could only become a reality if the habit of cleanliness is inculcated among the children right from the very beginning.

We at MLPS try to inculcate the habit of cleanliness as part of their personality.  Teaching them the mantra “Do not litter and don’t let others litter". As Benjamin Disraeli has rightly said,

Cleanliness and order are not matters of instinct; they are matters of education, and like most great things, you must cultivate a taste for them.

Through various activities like NUKKAD NATAK’s, MUSICAL PLAYS, CLEANLINESS DRIVE where children and teachers participate in cleaning class rooms and different areas of school , also different areas of the city, POSTERS, PLACARDS, and many more students are made aware about the vital importance of cleanliness.  The enthusiasm and zeal the exhibit during these activities is contagious. Even the tiny tots know and understand the value of Swach Bharat and contribute by following the norms. The fruit peels are thrown in a specified container by these little ones which is later on converted into compost.

Each student in MLPS is a cleanliness soldier and spreads the message through his action that

Say yes to cleanliness, say no to diseases.
